We know that going on a yoga retreat abroad can be a big commitment and we are here to answer any questions you might have.

  • What is NOT Included?
    Airfare Staff gratuities Extra spa services or excursions and associated gratuities, other than those noted above Extra drinks and snacks (alcohol, smoothie bar, gift shop) Travel insurance (highly recommended for unforeseen needs while traveling internationally, and to protect your investment) Overnight in San Jose, if required to accommodate flight times (we will provide very detailed advice on scheduling flights)
  • How Do I Get There?
    We will provide some more detailed information on traveling within the country, but in short here is the lowdown: 1) fly to San Jose, Costa Rica (airport code SJO) 2) take a commuter plane to Puerto Jimenez (60 minute flight over amazingly beautiful countryside) 3) hop in the shuttle to our retreat! (20 minute drive)
  • Can I bring Someone Who Does Not Practice Yoga?
    Absolutely 100%! We would love any and everyone to come and experience Costa Rica and the Osa Peninsula. There are so many other activities to do while at Blue Osa. On top of that, all of our classes will be accessible for all levels of yoga experience (including none at all 😉). Your guest might even leave a yogi! ​ Some of the excursion options include a rainforest hike, bird watching tour, mangrove kayaking, surfing, cacao plantation tour and a dolphin expedition. There may be others which we will learn about as soon as we are settled in at the retreat.
  • I see rooms are only double and triple occupancy. What if I want a single or am traveling with more than 3 people?
    All you need to do is send us an email and we will see what can be done to accomodate this request. We cannot guarantee we can make it happen, but we promise to try.
  • Once I reserve my spot, what happens next?
    We send you a virtual hug and a huge thank you. We will also be sending you a few forms to fill out and sign. If you have chosen the payment plan method, you will get an email prompting you to sign up for the payment plan. If you have paid in full then you are all set on that end. ​ Make sure to follow @omtravelers on instagram to stay up to date on all news. We will also send out periodic emails with updates for you. These messages will also be found in the blog section of our website.
